These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Platform, including browsing profiles, listing services, hiring freelancers or agencies, submitting applications, and requesting matching services.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
2. Definitions

- Users refers to individuals or organisations using the Platform
- Freelancers refers to vetted digital professionals listed on the Platform
- Agencies refers to vetted digital service providers listed on the Platform
- Clients refers to businesses or individuals seeking to hire freelancers or agencies
- We, Us, Equinet refer to the operator of Gighub.sg
3. About the Platform
Gighub.sg provides:
- A vetted directory of digital freelancers and agencies
- A matching service that recommends suitable providers
- Tools and resources to support hiring decisions
- Optional advisory and quality oversight services
Equinet does not provide employment, does not guarantee project outcomes, and does not act as an employer, contractor, or agent for any freelancer or agency.
4. User Responsibilities
By using the Platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
- Respect intellectual property and confidentiality obligations
- Not interfere with, damage, or exploit the Platform
- Not impersonate any individual or misrepresent your identity
5. Freelancer and Agency Responsibilities
Freelancers and agencies listed on Gighub.sg must:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on skills, experience, and portfolios
- Deliver services professionally and ethically
- Respond to client enquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain the standards required to remain listed
- Inform Equinet of material changes such as availability, business status, or scope of services
Equinet reserves the right to suspend or remove any profile that fails to meet platform standards.
6. Vetting and Listing
Gighub.sgnducts independent assessments of freelancers and agencies prior to listing.
You acknowledge that:
- Vetting does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of performance
- Outcomes may vary depending on project scope and engagement terms
- Clients remain responsible for their own due diligence
- Equinet is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or results produced by freelancers or agencies
7. Matching Service
Equinet offers a matching service to assist clients in identifying suitable freelancers or agencies.
By using this service, you acknowledge that:
- Recommendations are based on the information provided by users
- Equinet does not control pricing, delivery, or contractual terms
- Final hiring decisions rest solely with the client
- Equinet is not liable for mismatches, performance issues, or disputes
8. Engagements Between Clients and Providers
All commercial agreements, including scope, fees, timelines, deliverables, and payment terms, are strictly between:
- The client, and
- The engaged freelancer or agency
Equinet is not a party to these agreements.
Clients and providers are encouraged to:
- Define clear scopes of work
- Agree on fees and timelines upfront
- Formalise agreements in writing
- Maintain professional communication
9. Fees and Payments
Unless otherwise stated:
- Clients do not pay to browse the Platform or use basic matching services
- Freelancers and agencies do not pay to apply or be listed
- Optional premium features or services may involve fees, disclosed in advance
- Payments for engagements are handled directly between clients and providers
Equinet reserves the right to introduce or modify pricing models in the future.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Equinet is not liable for:
- Disputes, losses, or damages arising from client-provider engagements
- Errors or inaccuracies in listings or submissions
- Service interruptions or technical issues
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
The Platform is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind.
11. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold Equinet harmless from claims arising from:
- Use of the Platform
- Engagements with freelancers or agencies
- Breach of these Terms
- Misuse of platform information or services
12. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including text, layouts, branding, graphics, and frameworks, is owned by Equinet and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
13. Privacy and Data Protection
Gighub.sg complies with applicable data protection laws in Singapore.

14. Modifications to These Terms
Equinet may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
